There's something exhilarating about combining work and pleasure, especially when your destination is the enchanting cities of Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona. From the luxurious hotels in Scottsdale to the charming streets of Old Town and the mouthwatering delights of Cien Agaves, my recent trip to this southwestern gem was nothing short of an adventurous and fun-filled experience. Join me as I recount my journey through these vibrant cities, where business seamlessly merged with pleasure.
As I stepped foot into Scottsdale, I was instantly captivated by the city's elegant and refined atmosphere. Scottsdale is renowned for its world-class resorts and hotels, and I was fortunate enough to stay at one of these fine establishments. From the moment I entered the lobby, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of luxury that permeated every corner. The attention to detail, impeccable service, and stunning views made my stay truly remarkable. I had a tour of the finest luxury hotels for work, The Phoenecian, Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, Arizona Biltmore Waldorf Astoria where we dined at Renata’s Hearth for a team dinner, it was family style and absolutely delicious. Visiting these properties blew my mind to the ultimate luxury of Scottsdale.

One of the highlights of my trip was discovering the charm of Old Town Scottsdale. As I wandered through the streets, I couldn't help but feel transported to a different era. The rustic buildings, art galleries, boutiques, and quaint cafes created a delightful ambiance that was hard to resist. It was a pleasure to explore the unique shops and indulge in some retail therapy, picking up souvenirs and treasures along the way. I fell in love with the Gilbert Ortega Gallery. The staff were so kind friendly, the store has amazing positive energy and the gallery has stunningly beautiful pieces of art for purchase. This is a do not miss stop and shop! Be sure to visit the Native Art Market, true Native American Arts and Culture. I loved the gentlemen I spoke to at the counter and I always support the stores I visit and bought some Pinon coffee that was absolutely delicious! I really wanted to see some live entertainment but I was on a work schedule, next time I will go back for fun.

No trip is complete without savoring the local cuisine, and Cien Agaves exceeded all my expectations. This lively Mexican restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale became my go-to spot for dinner. The vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, and the aroma of mouthwatering dishes made it an irresistible choice. The extensive menu boasted an array of flavorful tacos, enchiladas, and, of course, refreshing margaritas. The first visit left me wanting more, so I ended up returning for another unforgettable dining experience later in the week. This place was recommended to me by a gentlemen who drove me around and showed me Old Town by golf cart. Yes, you can order golf carts to come pick you up.

While this trip was primarily for work, I would like to have indulged in some leisurely activities but I didn’t have much free time. Scottsdale and Phoenix offer a plethora of opportunities for outdoor adventures. From hiking the iconic Camelback Mountain to exploring the Desert Botanical Garden and discovering the rich Native American heritage at the Heard Museum. The cities effortlessly strike a balance between providing a productive environment for business and an abundance of recreational activities to enjoy. More to discover on another trip.
I also had a beautiful happy hour experience at Molina’s fine jewelry with our team. It was an amazing experience to see such fine jewelry, learn about the family history, try on a $4.5 million dollar sapphire necklace and set my intentions to manifest my desires. It was a magical night and I am grateful. The Molina family and staff welcomed us with kindness and generosity. If you are looking for that amazingly, special piece of jewelry for your family, go to Molina's.
